Summer Break/ Milestones/Assessment Time/ Supreme 90 Day Challenge

Summer Break: It's A Celebration!

Birthdays have changed for me over the years.  As I get older, I realize that I'm changing and the people around me are changing and sometimes we aren't all moving in the same directions.  That is okay.  I love the road I'm on.  I may have to travel alone sometimes, but I'm never so far away that I can't "phone home".  Old friends remind me of how far I've come.  The old memories and funny stories of how crazy I used to be make me appreciate the woman I am today.  I am still growing and I appreciate each new person I come across to help me in the next chapters of my life. 


June also represents the halfway mark in my journey.  I mean it when I say that weight will not be my issue in 2013.  Whatever I weigh on December 31, 2012 is what it shall be. 
I am in all my goal clothes that I mentioned in January.  You know the ones with the tags still on them.  I'm having a yard sale this Saturday for the gently used clothes and headed to the consignment store for the pricey items.  I hate to see them go, but I worked hard to get rid of them.  I think I will be "thrifting"  for the rest of this summer because clothes are too expensive to only be worn for 2 months.
 I definitely needed something to get me through this summer though.  Cookouts and amusement parks are my thing.  My weight loss mentor is You Tube's DivaSlimDown. She has lost 165 lbs and decided to start a Sizzling Summer Weight Loss Challenge on You Tube with a support group on Facebook.  From June 4th- July 31st, 164 of us are competing for prizes and challenging ourselves to reach our goals. To me, the support and advice I receive from the ladies is priceless. Everyone is rooting for each other. Supreme 90 Day Challenge: Who Is In?


I used to be in that gym like I was getting paid to show up.  Well, for the last two weeks I have been making cameo appearances...smh.  Twice a day has turned into three to four times a week.  I almost feel guilty about that, but I remember how burnt out I was a month ago.  I never want to feel like that again.  I realized I had to balance this thing out.  So some days I don't make it to the gym during lunch, I run errands instead.  That is much better than having to run them at night when I really need to be home packing lunch, eating dinner, studying, etc.  Being that frazzled made me want to hurt someone! Accidentally on purpose =)
With that said, I still have to do my thing in the gym, because I LOVE TO EAT!  So I purchased Supreme 90 Day DVD and will start 90 days of torture on July 1st as soon as my balance ball and dumbbells arrive.  I purchased some extra DVD sets and will bless some local folks that really want to try to change their lives.  I will also create a motivational support group as we do the 90 days.  This DVD is the equivalent to PX90 so this is not for play.  I really hope I get some folks to join me.

When I quit my pt, I'll join you every Sat and depending on what time you do it during the week, I may be able to shoot over a couple of times. We can discuss it further this Saturday...

Ok great. This is a daily challenge with a calender to mark as you go. We can encourage each other when we are apart and can schedule some days to do it together. I will ask Riss too.
