You Get What You Give

My first weigh in results are in!!!  5.2 lbs on Monster's scale (6.6 lbs on Biggest Loser scale).  I'm meeting this man halfway with my calorie intake and he's meeting me with legal human torture.  LOL.  It seems to be working so for, so I guess I'll keep this thing going at Tha Dungeon.
Thursday we were taking our time walking into the gym.  Monster was hype though and got us started with some old school rap.  I don't remember the warm up, if we had one.  I just remember getting on our backs for leg lifts or what I call reverse sit ups.  Twenty of those and then bear crawls across the floor until we hit the wall.  Let me say, I am SO PROUD of how well I do these bcs!  I am able to do them without stopping!  I can't believe it, but its true.  I'm not as fast as Danni, but I'm a few steps behind her.
After walking back to the starting position, we had to do 20 more leg lifts and then crawl again.  Ten times in all and then we collapsed.  We did 20 sets of arm raises and ended it with squats I think.  I'm still confused, because I was so nauseated that I had to stop halfway through.  Wow, I was done.  I hated to quit, but I'm not crazy.  I'm 37 years old.  For the next few days afterwards I have been having phantom bear crawl pains.  My arms feel like jelly and it hurts to press down to write. O_o.  All music to Monster's ears. LOL
Saturday I trained for the Amazing Raise 5k on Wednesday.  Why I waited till five days before the race, I will never know, but I made it through.  I'm excited about the race and can't wait for the beer, food, and fun at the finish line!
Speaking of food...the Mr. and I had our first date night after the big move.  We went in on the Endless Shrimp special at Red Lobster and the waitress would bring us our dish and immediately reorder the next dish.  Wth?  I didn't even finish my first plate.  We had a lot of food to bring home.   I'm proud of the way I didn't stuff myself however, the next few meals will be much different than what I ate last week.  But this process is not a race, its literally one workout, one meal, one pound at a time.

Yay for date night though. Was it his first time at Red Lobster? We might check it out.
